In 2015 we started a project in virtual reality for Therapieland, a the leading e-Health company in the Netherlands. The goal of the project was helping people to cope with agoraphobia, people who can struggle being in busy places. The experience helped people step by step to become at ease when going outdoors, overcoming their fears and enjoy the their new world.
Later we extended the experience to a mindfulness program to become more relaxed, and one helping fight alcohol addiction.
We set up the structure and workflow of the VR-program so Therapieland could continue on their own. We often get together to discuss the future and benefits of VR in order to further help people with psychological problems using Virtual environments.
